K1 Art

Hello, my name is Carol Chen.
Teaching Vector K-1 art is a true joy for me. My background is in elementary and kindergarten education, as well as teaching art in various roles.

This class will introduce basic elements of art. Using a variety of mediums, we will explore color, line, shape, and textures. The children are encouraged to express their creativity through weekly art journaling and projects. Presentations of their art piece to the class will give the child the opportunity to communicate their ideas and stories through art.

Class fee $25/year

If you’d like you child to bring a paint shirt, it can be stored in the classroom for the
semester.
